Bandits, Sun Devils fall at Wood Bat tourney

SPOKANE — the Kennewick Bandits and the Pasco Sun Devils each mislaid in the quarterfinals of the Spokane/Coeur d’Alene Wood Bat contest during Whitworth College.

Kennewick fell 10-6 to the Calgary Okatokes notwithstanding the two-run home run from Ty Jackson, and Pasco mislaid 9-3 to the great Falls (Mont.) Chargers.

Seth Lochridge accomplished 2-for-4 to lead the Sun Devils.

the Okatokes jumped out to the 4-0 first-inning lead and never looked back.

“They got four quick runs, and you played from behind,” pronounced Bandits manager Bryan Winston. “They did the good pursuit (hitting) with dual strikes and they got the leadoff hitter on.”

Kennewick scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to cut the lead to 7–6.
